Sponsorship

A sponsorship is a short-term agreement for an organization or individual to help a group or community receive a number of computer systems.

Depending on your level of sponsorship, we will distribute the computers, host an event for the distribution and hold a training session which can be held at our Community Tech Center to help those recipients gain the full benefits of the computer system.

The Bridging-the-Gap program includes distribution of free computers to low-income and new Canadians.  The objective is to help to bridge the digital divide and to give underpriveleged Canadian families access to the technology that will help to better integrate them into Canadian society. The costs of sponsorship levels are mentioned above.  Interested in sponsoring a Bridging-the-Gap project?   Please give us a call at:  613-234-8988 ext 112 or email at: Cette adresse email est protégée contre les robots des spammeurs, vous devez activer Javascript pour la voir.

Click here to see a video of the Sky's the limit distribution.

100 computer systems were distributed to members of the Burmese Community in 2007 through the generous sponsorship of CNC Global, Skys’ the Limit and other partners. This project distributed 100 personal desktop computers to new Canadians from Burma and other countries who had recently arrived in the Ottawa region. The purpose was to help to bridge the digital divide and to give these new Canadian families access to the technology that will help integrate them into Canadian society, assist them to pursue career opportunities, to communicate with family members oversees, and to help them in other personal endeavours.
