TechReuse est un programme qui attire beaucoup d'attention chez CompuCorps; en partie puisqu'il est apparu plusieurs fois dans les nouvelles. TechReuse aide à diminuer l'effet de sépration social causé par la technolgoie.

Le program sert come fondation pour plusieurs activités entretenues par CompuCorps. Le program fonctionne en recevant des dons d'équipement technologique pour ensuite les remettres à noeuf et les redistribués parmis ceux qui en ont besoin.

TechReuse is a service of CompuCorps.org providing computer hardware, training and technical support to charities, non-profits and people with limited access to technology.

• Refurbish your equipment as much as possible
• Recycle what cannot be fixed
• Redistributed them to charitable organizations in your community
• Issue a tax receipt for the market value of the donated equipment.

Refurbishing helps the community as well as the environment; the typical lifespan of a desktop computer is roughly two to five years, burning them creates carcinogens and burying them contaminates the ground and water. TechReuse diverts used computers from landfills. The major benefit or refurbished computers is the price point and the quality level - approximately one third of what a new PC would cost.
