TechMentor

TechMentor provides professional advice and services to Ontario's Non-Profit Sector. TechMentor acts as both a portal from where volunteers can access the wide range of projects administered by CompuCorps and as a hub through which CompuCorps' programs can interact.

Of all the programs administered by CompuCorps, TechMentor is the one most closely related to CompuCorps' mission:

  • TechMentor researches the needs of other charities and non-profit organizations.
  • TechMentor innovates functional and affordable solutions to their needs.
  • TechMentor applies these solutions through volunteer projects and support.

TechMentor is a service of CompuCorps.org. Mentoring is a unique way of serving the non-profit sector by bringing together computer volunteers and non-profit organizations who need to improve their computer systems, software, and knowledge, thereby better enabling them to achieve their objectives.

We help non-profit organizations to become better integrated into our network society with computers, information and technology planning, low cost computer services and software technical support and training.

Some services we offer:

  • New website or updates to existing sites.
  • Recommendations for new software.
  • Coaching through a software upgrade.
  • Assistance on building a database.
  • Training on software or internet tools.
  • PMI - Project Management
